The top layer of this Organic Mattress Protector has been made from soft organic material similar to your favorite t-shirt (organic jersey cotton), for the soft feel of luxurious bedding. Since it&apos;s so soft, you can use this Organic Mattress Protector without an additional sheet!</p><p>Under the protector&apos;s soft sleeping surface is a sewn-in polyurethane layer that prevents moisture from working its way to your mattress. This protector is breathable, meaning it allows your body heat to pass through it for a more comfortable sleeping experience. The protector will fit onto your Queen sized mattress with a depth of 18 inches using the 4 way stretch method. Staying true to its organic design, this Mattress Protector only comes in ecru (beige), an unbleached, dye-free color that prevents skin irritation and environmental pollution. To further protect the environment, this mattress protector comes in a biodegradable package made from cornstarch and hemp.</p>

LAUNDERING INSTRUCTIONS:

• Please wash and tumble dry the Encasement before using it the first time as this softens the product, improves the flexibility and eliminates any packaging odors.

Washing :

1. Please do NOT use any bleach, bleach alternatives, non-chlorine bleach or any bleach by-products in the detergent, as this will destroy the polyurethane lining.
2. The Encasement can be washed in hot water.
3. Do NOT dry clean.

Drying:

1. Dry together with some other bed linen or towels. The Encasement can be tumble dried on a medium heat for about 40 minutes (longer if needed - depending on your dryer)
2. Careful drying will prevent blistering of the lining. If blisters do form from overheating of the dryer, please discontinue using the Encasement, as these blisters will split open and lead to the Encasement leaking.
