  It is very comfortable to sleep on. I have two grandchildren and wanted to make sure my beds were protected. No one has had accidents so I can't attest to it's waterproof reliability as of yet. However I do like the fact that it doesn't feel like a waterproof pad.

  • Can I use a electric heating mattress pad on top on my Breathable Waterproof Mattress Pad? Is there any problem with the heating element of the heated mattress pad lying on top of the waterproof mattress pad?
  • You can use a heating pad, although I would not recommend using it extensively or continuously long term exposure to high heat can cause the product to degrade more quickly.

  • No, this is not the same product. It is a 4 layer breathable mattress pad, not a terry cloth mattress cover. It is not noisy because it utilizes a urethane waterproof barrier rather than a loud, vinyl one.

  • Is the urethane waterproof barrier inside the layers of cotton?
  • Yes, the urethane layer is included in the padding of the mattress pad. The urethane layer will offer the same protection as a vinyl layer and it will be able to last longer.

  • Is polyurethane non-toxic? I'm trying to avoid the toxic chemicals associated with vinyl.
