No one would suspect that this is anything more than ordinary bedding! However, the inner layer of vinyl provides a permanent barrier against wetness, odors, and stains. Simply machine wash/dry when the pad becomes soiled. No need to worry about a ruined mattress. This 4 layer mattress pad is heavier and more absorbent than the 3 layer pad, therefore, may take 2 cycles in the dryer to become completely dry.

Cons: Too Thin
I washed it before placing it on the mattress. As soon as I put the 2nd corner on, it ripped. Now that it's been washed, and I'd already thrown the clear zippered bag it came in, I can not return it.
