  The zippered matress cover is used on our mattress in our bedroom. My husband sweats heavily and was starting to stain our new mattress. I had used other cheap mattress covers without good results. The covers would tear, wrinkle and have heavy odor of plastic. Your product fits our mattress perfectly without wrinkles. The packaging smell went away quickly. The only negative was when I put on mattress cover and zippered it up there was air trapped between mattress cover and mattress. When my husband laid back the trapped air pulled the zipper apart. I was able to realign zipper and it closes appropriately. I think there should be a mention of that on instructions. I also left about a half inch of zipper track open so this would not happen in future. Otherwise great product. Product was as described and shipping was fast. Will definitely buy from you again.   I am very sensitive to dust mites. I use this cover as a protection. I had a stiffer one on my bed and it was terrible. Every time I moved it made noise. This one does not do that. It is very comfortable to sleep on.

  i need a protective cover as i have a pet that occasionally goes to the bathroom on my bed when he is mad. I don't mind washing the bedding, but the mattress is too difficult to get pee out of. I have tried other covers, but they were all so thin that they would start to tear after a couple of months. This one is heavy duty and feels very strong. I put it under a thin mattress pad and I don't even feel it when I am sleeping. I think that this one will last quite a while.

  I tried to give it 5 stars but the system wouldn't allow me. Bought this product because I needed something sturdy that wouldn't tear. I bought one from [...] but it tore at the seams while I was putting it on. this product did no such thing and is working great! I was experiencing bites and figured they were due to bed bugs.   • We recently experience bed bugs in a rental unit and after having a professional exterminator eliminate the problem we purchased mattress protectors to avoid future problems. They were purchase in September of 2009 and I just discovered that they have torn/shredded in multiple places. I am now looking to replace that protector with a heavy duty one that will withstand a vacation rental unit. Will this protect hold up?

  • It will fit either a box spring or a mattress, but you would need to purchase a separate cover for both. We recommend measuring the depth (that is the height on the side) of both your mattress and box spring to be sure you do not need a deeper vinyl. As long as both your mattress and box spring are less than 9" deep, you can purchase this to cover both your mattress and your box spring, individually.

  • I have been fighting a loosing battle against bedbugs for the past year. Have had multiple visits from exterminators, and they keep returning. Wil these do a similar job as the other encasements on the market, to keep existing bedbugs inside the matress and box spring, or is it advised to spend the several hundred dollars for bedbug encasements?
  • All of our zippered mattress covers offer bedbug protection, meaning they will keep the existing bedbugs and their eggs (one bedbug lays up to 500 eggs (yuck!) - which is why they keep coming back) encased in the mattress and keep new bedbugs out of the mattress. It is important that you prepare to keep any cover on for at least 1 year to ensure all bedbugs and their eggs are dead. With that being said, we recommend our heavy duty vinyl covers which can stand up to the test of time. These covers do offer you the same protection other pricier covers provide, but at a fraction of the cost. The biggest difference between this cover and others is that it is not breathable. If you are looking for a breathable bedbug cover, check out our Premium Zippered Covers which offer bedbug protection with the breathable comfort of a urethane barrier. Don't forget to cover all mattresses and box springs in the residence as they can live in both pieces of your bed and travel from room to room.
