  I purchased this item because I have a bladder problem. I wanted something to protect my mattress just incase. Well, I was afraid it would make noise every time I moved around. I did buy the 12 inch deep (our mattress is 9 inchs deep) which made it a lot easier to put on. Easy to clean. Just wipe it down with a damp cloth and let it dry for a few minutes.
