This mattress pad is made of 3 layers with a vinyl waterproof barrier. Two inch wide elastic bands on each corner secure the pad in place. Provides complete protection from odor causing bacteria, spills, and stains and is easily removable for machine washing and drying.

    I was ready to give up on my cat who kept soiling my bed covers. this product stays in place ON TOP OF MY BEDDING and cleans readily when an accident occurs. I bought an extra one for use while I am washing the soiled one. Now I can keep the BAD cat and enjoy his company without fear.

    One of my cats is ailing and old. I think he has kitty Alzheimer. Anyway, he's become rather incontinent and has started peeing on my bed. The mattress pad is thin enough to put on top of my comforter. The corner straps anchors the pad down so he can't get underneath it and it's easy to clean. I would definitely buy it again.
