Very nice pillow covers, they don't have a waterproof "plastic" liner feel to them. We bought them just to keep our new expensive pillows "drool free" and clean, as they can't be washed.

Used to use the plastic protectors but they get hot and the pillow case falls off... These protectors are AWESOME! Not hot, no slips and protects the pillow. Highly reccomend!

Best Uses: Allergen barrier
This breathable, waterproof pillow cover is a must for everyone. One of the first steps to eliminating allergens (especially those pesky dust mites)is to cover your pillow. You typically have two options (a) an inexpensive plastic/vinyl cover or (b) a breathable fabric like this product that has micropores so that allergens can't get in. I have tested this product on my own pillow and now insist that all my friends and family take this simple step to breath more easily at night. Have you looked at an uncovered pillow that has been in use for a few months/years? My suggestion - buy a new pillow and one of these covers that you can wash every month.
